    The Prince William - Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center serves Prince William County, including the towns of Occoquan, Quantico, Triangle, Dumfries, and Haymarket. The jail also serves the independent cities of Manassas, and Manassas Park. The Detention Center’s mission is to provide secure, safe, and healthful housing of prisoners; ensure staff safety; conduct rehabilitative programs that reduce recidivism following release; and to do so in as cost-effective a manner as possible

    Adult Detention Center Tours

    The Prince William – Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center (ADC) conducts tours of the ADC for adult students, law enforcement candidates and similar organizations. Facility tours are a valuable learning experience and can assist in orienting members of the community to the ADC.

    Adult Detention Center Annual Report

    Each year, the Adult Detention Center (ADC) publishes an annual report highlighting accomplishments and progress on meeting the agency’s mission and goals.

Schedule a Visit

Each inmate creates a list of up to six visitors depending on privilege level. The inmate can only change their list every four months. Inmates can have one non-contact visit per week, facilitated through video visitation only.

After Arrest Process

The intake section receives all inmates and follows standard processes after an arrest. Magistrate Court holds a first appearance hearing to notify the arrested person of the charge(s) against them. The judge considers bail and whether there are any conditions of release. The hearing’s outcome determines next steps.
