Third Party Inspections Program
Prince William County has four levels of Third Party Inspection Programs.
- The Policy: Third Party Building Inspection Certification Program provides for Virginia registered architects and professional engineers to conduct certain inspections during the construction process. It is a voluntary program that can be selected by the owner/contractor.
- The Policy: Third Party Inspection Certification Program for Leftover Inspections provides for Virginia certified inspectors to conduct inspections when Prince William County has not completed the inspection within two working days of the scheduled inspection.
- The Policy: Third Party Inspection Certification Program for Minor Critical Projects identifies the inspection requirements for Special Inspection Projects that are of a minor nature/complexity.
- The Special Inspections Program identifies Special Inspection Projects, the plan review submission requirements, and the inspection requirements for critical structures.
