We are committed to supporting the dedicated refuse and recycling workers who play a vital role in keeping Prince William County clean, safe, and environmentally sustainable. As such we seek to provide support to our permitted haulers or those interested in receiving a permit to operate collection and disposal services within the County.
As of January 1, 2024, commercial haulers will be charged a $40/ton tipping fee for municipal solid waste disposal at the landfill. Commercial haulers must have an account set up with the county. However, permitted haulers will not be charged a tipping fee for yard waste at the Prince William Compost facility.
