US Bike Route 1 traverses the County from the Town of Occoquan west to the Stafford County line. Broad Run Greenway

Currently, the Greenway consists of natural surface trails within Broad Run Linear Park. The best way to access the trails is to park at Victory ES. Obey all posted parking regulations. Trails are Natural Surface. 6 Mi

Catharpin Greenway

Trail Map

Currently, the trail exists mainly within the two regional parks and in Dominion Valley. For equestrian users, trailer parking is available at James Long Regional Park and Silver Lake Regional Park. Note that users cannot currently connect between Silver Lake and James Long without crossing Rt. 15. Trails are Natural Surface and Stonedust.  Read More 10 Mi

Neabsco Creek Greenway

Occoquan Greenway

  The Greenway is currently under development with Segment 1 partially open, and Segments 2, 3, and 4 fully open to the public. For the best trail experience, park at the Lake Ridge Marina trailhead and walk on the natural surface trail and on-street segments to Antietam Elementary School. 5 Mi

Andrew Leitch Park

The natural surface and stonedust trail network winds through the wooded area of the park. There are several loops on the North end of the park and connections to the VEPCO Fields and Enterprise ES to the South. The Andrew Leitch trails are part of the Neabsco Greenway, which is still under development. 4 Mi
 

Ben Lomond Regional Park

Dove's Landing Park

Natural surface trails on the park property provide scenic views of the Occoquan River. There are HOA and private trails adjacent to the park property, so please be aware of your surroundings. These trails are more rugged than most in the County and may be strenuous for some users. 2 Mi

George Hellwig Memorial Park

Stonedust trail equipped with a few fitness stations along the way. Runners, walkers and cyclists can enjoy this trail year-round. This trail includes a story trail courtesy of the Prince William County Library featuring a new story each season. 1 Mi
 

James S. Long Regional Park

Natural surface trails follow the Catharpin Creek Valley through the wooded portion of the park, with rolling terrain and several stream crossings. To access the trails, use the parking lot near the large playground, horse trailer parking is available near the riding ring at the park entrance. 4 Mi

Lake Ridge Park

In addition to the natural surface and gravel trails on the park property, the park also serves as the best access to the Occoquan Greenway. Currently, users can hike 3 miles from the park to Antietam ES. Residents can also access the Lake Ridge HOA trails.

Locust Shade Park

Natural surface and stonedust trails for hiking and mountain biking wind throughout the park. At the southern end of the property is the County's only MTB specific trail, complete with 2 built features. The park also serves as the southern terminus of the Potomac Heritage Scenic Trail in Prince William. 6 Mi
 

Neabsco Regional Park

The park's network of paved and natural surface trails is anchored by the Neabsco Creek Boardwalk. On the north side of the creek, there are paved connections to Rt. 1 and the Rippon VRE as part of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail. On the south side, Metz Wetlands has natural surface trails winding through the preserve, and a connection to Leesylvania State Park.  5 Mi

The trails traverse the park's woods, meadows and shorelines, providing a diverse natural experience. Veterans Memorial Park
