On Mach 18, 2025, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 25-154, initiating the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance update, a zoning text amendment to the entirety of the Prince William County Zoning Ordinance, County Code Chapter 32. The update is intended to implement the adopted Comprehensive Plan and make other necessary improvements to the Zoning Ordinance. The Planning Office is leading this effort with support from AECOM, the project technical consultant, and The Clearing, the community engagement consultant.
