Prince William County Land, Development Services and Planning Experts Speak at Annual Virtual Conference
On October 15, 2020, Prince William County leaders and experts from Development Services, Environmental Services, Fire Marshal, Geographic Information Systems, Planning, Transportation and Prince William County Service Authority presented the 2020 Land Development Virtual Seminar.
According to Prince William County Director of Development Services Wade A. Hugh, “Prince William County works hard to model best practices related to land development, working alongside the Commercial Development Committee members, Northern Virginia Building Industry Association, business community and citizens.”
“The vision guiding the land development evolution is to create lively and walkable, authentic areas, that define a sense of place and purpose for residents and tourists while ensuring a safe and vibrant future-leading environment for businesses of all types and sizes.”
The seminar provided detailed insight on a variety of land development regulations and uses, including definitions of Town Centers, Community Mixed-Use, Office Mixed-Use, Technology/Flex space, and Arts & Entertainment.
