Talking to the Author Bookmark Contest: Chinn Park ASC and Montclair
Grades K-5
January 2-March 12

Design a bookmark around the theme “The Loudest Library.”

Download the Bookmark Contest Form by clicking the button below, or pick up a printed form at Chinn Park ASC Library (13083 Chinn Park Dr., Woodbridge, VA 22192) and Montclair Library beginning January 20. The bookmarks of the first-place winners (one for each grade, K–5) and the grand prize winner’s bookmark will be printed and available at the library in early summer.

The grand prize winner will also receive an autographed copy of “Orson and the World’s Loudest Library” by local author Laura Gehl. Prizes will be awarded at the Talking to the Author presentation at Montclair Library on Saturday, April 11, at 2:00 p.m., with special guest Laura Gehl.

Juvenile Book Club to Go! Kits Now Available

Prince William Public Libraries' Book Club to Go! Kits now include Juvenile titles and provide everything you need to host your own book club with titles selected by librarians. Kits contain up to 10 copies of the book to share with your reading group. Kits can be checked out for six weeks and are renewable. Click here to place Juvenile titles on hold.

For other ideas, ask the staff at your library for assistance. They can offer suggestions and show you how to use library resources for discussion questions or author biographical information.
