Prince William Public Libraries (PWPL) accepts donations of current books, audiobooks, music CDs, and DVDs that are in good condition on behalf of the Friends of the Library. Funds raised by book sales are used by the Friends of the Library to support library programs and special events for all ages. For more information visit our donating materials page.
As of November 2025, the following libraries are accepting donations: Bull Run, Central, Chinn Park, Haymarket Gainesville, Manassas City, and Montclair.
You can donate money, books, audiobooks, eBooks, music CDs, DVDs, or other items in memory of or in honor of someone special. Just stop by your local library to inquire, or call Materials Services, 703-792-6100, for more information or assistance.
The Prince William Library Foundation was established in 1998 to allow community-minded citizens, organizations, and businesses to make endowments and contributions that support a wide range of library services, activities, and projects. The Prince William Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization existing solely to solicit and accept tax-deductible gifts. A gift made to Prince William Public Libraries before December 31 may be used as a charitable donation and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the tax-deductibility of your donation. Gifts made to Prince William Public Libraries comply with IRS regulations governing charitable donations.
