About the Plan

Prince William County (PWC) is launching a small area study for the Vint Hill Corridor.
This small area study will build on the PWC 2040 Comprehensive Plan.

Like many semi-rural areas located near urban centers, Vint Hill is feeling the pressure of development. Prince William County is looking to plan for the corridor’s future in such a way that both protects and sustains the area’s long-term industries (e.g. agriculture), supports the growth of new or evolving industries (e.g. agri-hood), and creates opportunities for strategic and balanced growth in housing, transportation, and infrastructure to support the future corridor and mitigate issues of displacement and affordability that often come with new development.

Project Goals

-Protect and sustain the area’s long-term industries (e.g. agriculture)
-Support the growth of new or evolving industries (e.g. agri-hood)
-Create opportunities for strategic and balanced growth in housing, transportation, and infrastructure
