The Commission shall advise the Board of County Supervisors and the Prince William County Department of Parks and Recreation on matters relating to the provision of parks and recreation services to the residents of Prince William County. In doing so, the Commission may be asked to consult with and advise the County Executive and the Department of Parks and Recreation Director. In providing advice and consultation, the Commission shall work closely with the citizens of the community to understand and interpret their needs and desires relating to parks and recreation services.

Meetings:
All Park Commission meeting agendas, subcommittee meetings or notice of cancelation are posted at the Hellwig Administration Building and on this website. Prince William County Parks and Recreation Commission meetings are generally held at 7:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month (*except as noted).
