Historic Preservation

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism's Office of Historic Preservation takes care of many special places. New properties to come under our care are in the works, including Thoroughfare Historic Park and over 100 more acres at Bristoe Station Battlefield Heritage Park, as well as the restoration to two of our homes, Bushy Park and the Williams-Dawe House at Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre.

Daily Guided Tours

Open Fridays-Mondays for self-guided tours from 10am - 4pm with guided tours offered at 11am, 2pm, and by appointment. Grounds open sunrise to sunset daily.
